Air Travel - Those traveling by air should look at Oakland International (OAK) or San Francisco International (SFO) airports, each of these being 67 miles from downtown Santa Rosa.

Other airport options though a bit farther away would be Sacramento International Airport (SMF) which is approximately 105 miles from downtown Santa Rosa and San Jose Internationa Airport (SJC) which is 97 miles from downtown Santa Rosa.

Airport Shuttles - If you need transportation from the airport to Santa Rosa please look into Sonoma County Airport Express, www.airportexpresssinc.com  They have buses that leave from both San Francisco Int'l and Oakland Int'l. 

Hotels - With regards to best locations we advise staying in Windsor, Northern Santa Rosa, Healdsburg or Guerneville. In Windsor, there is currently only one hotel, the Holiday Inn Express.
