Beginning in 2006 the Full Vineman Triathlon offered up a "buy two,get one free" promotion. Realizing that one of the biggest parts of preparing for an Ironman distance event is being able to motivate and be motivated by training partners on a daily basis, this promotion encourages athletes to get a group of training partners together, enter at an amazingly affordable cost and prepare for a great event. For 2013 we will be offering a promotion but it has changed from the original.
*This offer applies only to people signing up for the Full Vineman individual event...no combinations of the Full Vineman and Aqua Bike or Full Vineman and Barb's Race. It also does NOT apply to Ironman 70.3 Vineman.
*As part of this promo you will not be able to transfer your entry to a different event (Half/Full AquaBike, 70.3 Vineman, Barb's Race).
Process for signing up:
Via Paper Entries:
- Print and fill out entries for each of the two people signing up.
- Enclose both entry forms in one envelope.
- Include payment in the form of a check or checks made out to Vineman.
- NOTE: if one of the two people withdraws from the race the regular refund administrative fees apply.
Via Online Entry (active.com)
- Use the active.com link from the Full Vineman "register" section of the Vineman Website: http://www.vineman.com
- Once on the active.com website click on the "register now" button in the upper right hand side of the page.
-Select the "buy 1, get 1 half off" option.
-You will then be taken to the registration form page where you will proceed with entering your personal information.
You will also need to include the following information on your registration form:
- The full name of the second person in your "group".
- The name for your "group".This name should be the last names of the two members of the "group".
-You are not required to register both people during the initial registration. The second person may come in at any point in the next 7 days to complete their registration.
-You WILL need to include the name of the other person registering with you as part of the "group".
-Each of the two members will be given a 25% discount (for an overall discount of 50%).
- NOTE: if one of the two people withdraws from the race the regular refund administrative fees apply. Additionally, if one of the two people withdraws, the second person will be moved into the "individual" category and charged the difference of their entry fee as the first person has now withdrawn. If they are able to find someone to take the spot (before withdrawing) then they may remain in the "promo" category.
