2010 Vineman Ironman 70.3 Waitlist Info & Policy
The information posted below should help clarify the waitlist process. Please be sure to read through it before contacting the Vineman office.
Please note that the waitlist is closed (as of 12/24/09) and we are no longer accepting applicants.
* As a registered athlete informs us that they are withdrawing from the race their name will be removed from the participant list and the first name on the waitlist will then be contacted by someone in the Vineman office to let them know they have been cleared to register for the race.
* Once you have been informed that you have made it into the race you will have 7 days in which to register online. If you do not register in this allotted amount of time your name will be removed from the list.
* If, during the time that your name is on the waitlist, you decide that you no longer wish to race Vineman Ironman 70.3, you MUST advise us and ask that your name be removed. (In 2009 we had more than 75 people that still had their name on the waitlist and no longer intended to race...so please be considerate of others on the list!!!)
* Please do not call to inform us of your “special circumstances” and why you should bypass the waitlist and be placed in the race. You are asking us to make a decision as to who is less deserving to race than yourself. With the exception of 2008, everyone that was on the wait list was eventually entered into the race. In 2009 we had well over 300 people on the waitlist and all made it in.
Please note: A current waitlist is located on the Vineman website for you to view your status. The waitlist is updated daily (Mon - Fri).
The wait list will be terminated on June 20 which is also the last day to request a refund.
