Pro Prize Money

2008 marks the third time this event has offered a prize purse $25,000. The $25,000 cash prize breakdown, equal for both men and women, will be as follows:

1st - $6000
2nd - $3000
3rd - $2000
4th - $1000
5th - $500

Only athletes carrying a Pro Card from their National Federation are eligible to race as a pro and receive prize money.

Pro athletes must finish as follows to be eligible for prize money or win their entry fee back: (assuming entry by June 30)
--MEN: Within 20 minutes of the overall winner
--FEMALE: Within 22 minutes of the overall FEMALE winner

**In past years our policy was that a professional had to beat all age group athletes to be eligible for prize money. We realize that though age groupers are racing the same course, they may be racing an event with different dynamics, so we have changed this policy for 2008.
