Vineman AquaBike

In 2005 USA Triathlon offered a pilot program called the AquaBike. Events which are participating in the AquaBike program will give athletes the opportunity to compete in a category where they will complete the swim and bike portions of the race, while omitting the run leg of the race. On August 1st, 2009 in association with the Full Vineman, we are offering AquaBike categories for both the Full Vineman and the Vineman Ironman 70.3 distances.

Full Vineman AquaBike: Swim 2.4 Miles / Bike 112 Miles

• Age Categories for the Full Vineman AquaBike will be as follows: 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
• Awards will be given to the top three(3) male and female finishers in each category.
• The award ceremony for the Full Vineman AquaBike at the Full Vineman awards ceremony on Sunday, August 2nd.

Half Vineman AquaBike: Swim 1.2 Miles / Bike 56 Miles

• Age Categories for the Half Vineman AquaBike will be as follows: 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
• Awards will be given to the top three(3) male and female finishers in ach category.
• The Half Vineman AquaBike swim will begin at 8:10 AM before the first Barb's Race swim wave.
• Entries in the Half Vineman AquaBike will be limited.
• The award ceremony for the Half Vineman AquaBike will be held at 1:30pm on race day, next to the finish line.
